Having started dancing aged 10 at his local Dance School in the Saturday morning dance class and after taking exams in various grades he moved into open competitions & went onto become the British & International Open to the World Junior (U16) Latin American Champion as well as many other National Titles.
During his Amateur career he was England's No' 1 representative & finalist in all World, European, Open British, United Kingdom Open, International, Closed British & Closed United Kingdom Latin American Championships, as well as winning various National titles he also appeared in the original TV series of Come Dancing.
Having turned Professional in 1996, he went on to win the 1997 International Professional Rising Star Latin American Championship as well as winning many titles representing England around the world including places like Hong Kong, China, Singapore, & Malaysia to name a few, he also gained an excellent reputation as a Demonstrator & Lecture and was sought after around the world.
Now, retired from competing, he is concentrating his efforts in Teaching, Lecturing & Adjudicating both in the Competitive Dancesport section as well as the Medallist dance scene, and even now is still in demand in demonstrating around the United Kingdom & the World.
